Show your art work!

I am an artist who had been teaching since i completed my masters in fine arts.I didn't get much chance to do my own work after i lost the best of my work in art galleries.I took a six years gap mourning the loss.During that time i did do a lot of work in schools but for some reason never saved most of it.I learned a lot from my mistakes so decided to share the importance of documenting and showing your work We are living in the world where you need to be findable to not just for being recognized but also to contribute with what you have .

Social media is one of the platforms to be out there ,try to be more present not just online but face to face also.Talk about yourself .Teach and learn to grow.

Document what you do and get noticed

Its really important to document what you do ,the process and the finished product. Its a way of sharing your creativity and to get discovered. It also helps you to see your own progress and growth as an artist and as a person.

Talk about yourself and speak for your work to get people involved

Never hesitate to talk about who you are and what you do .On social media and in person let people know you exist .Speak for your work as the work becomes more valuable when the viewer knows the details about it.

Teach and learn to grow

Give what you have to others in terms of knowledge ,skills and take what you can in return.Great ideas are always formed when you have more exposure to creative people in your field. You yourself don't have to be genius but curious to learn.

Whats your opinion on this ?Do let me know !
